CHA Canada Barrie Ontario

Hello and welcome to a special review from a CHA Canada Retreat.

I am a member of CHA North America and CHA Canada.  This membership has brought great joy and wonderful experiences to my life.  I would encourage everyone within any design discipline to become a member of CHA.
June 6, 7 and 8th was the date of the retreat held in Barrie, Ontario.
The event was held at Kempenfelt Conference Centre.
I arrived early, toured the well groomed resort grounds and water front.  No bugs to speak of, which was a pleasant surprise.
I started out with Nancy Donaldson who taught me to make a crochet necklace.

Love this necklace, going to make 1 in every color.

Sponsors of this retreat were the following generous companies.  Please support these leading companies within the crafting industry, as they truly are generous sponsors.

Creations Country Bear provided a large 12x12 stencil, they are located in Sherbrooke, QC.

Core'dinations and Stampendous

Hello and welcome to the Core'dinations and Stampendous blog hop.  We have a great hop organized for you with lots of inspirational projects to share with you.

We are celebrating with Stampendous this week!
We love the way our cardstock "core'dinates" with Stampendous stamps, don't you?

Of course there are prizes this week! Three prize packages will be awarded.
The package from Stampendous includes the Lovely Garden Stamp
Set
; the Matching Lovely Garden Cutting Dies;
a Sand It Kit from Core'dinations which includes a sanding
block, replacement sandpaper, and a "must-have" Dust Buddy clean up cloth;
AND Core'dinations will also be sending the lucky winners some of our
fantastic 6" X 6" paper pads. PLUS an extra special bonus - our friends at
Dreamweaver Stencil will be adding the gorgeous Stone Wall stencil that Jamie Martin from Stampendous used in her
terrific card she'll be posting this week (you can see a peek of it on the
blog banner!)
LET'S GET STARTED!
We'll draw three random blog posts from all the posts this week. Then we'll
choose one comment from each. Of course we'll love you even more if you pin
our projects to your Pinterest Boards or if you Tweet, or Share on Facebook,
follow us, like our pages. You know the drill! Here's who is posting today!

Here is my canvas that I designed for the hop.

Look at this master board I created using the Core'dinations 110 lb. cardstock.  The Clearsnap Colorbox Spritzers explode with vibrate color intensity on this Core'dinations 110 lb. cardstock.  This Core'dinations 110 lb. cardstock is a must in all multi-media designers studio supplies.

After stamping the master board with the Stampendous cling rubber stamps, I used the matching Cutting Dies.  This was such a pleasure working with matching cutting dies.

Next up on the blog hop is the talented  Jamie Martin.

Cardmaker Magazine and Tombow Adhesive

Hello, I have a cute card that I wish to share with you that features a front panel  cut-out window.
Cardmaker Magazine has a challenge going on at the Card Challenge Corner which features window cards.
Here is my card with a decorative edged window.
I have used many of my favorite products and will be playing along with additional challenges.  A wonderful designer Marie Browning from Tombow has challenge on the Tombow blog.  Marie's challenge is to design anything "Bird related".  So, I am going to play along with this challege and submit this card.

Spring time is a special time of year that bring us blossoms and makes all of us think of the new season upon us which includes birds.  At the Verve Stamps blog they have a June challenge calling for "Winged Whimsy".
I just love this Winged Whimsy challenge mood board photo.  This is a beautiful humming bird photo.

So, please join me and play along with one of these challenges and become a member of their community.  There are many designers on the websites that share wonderful designs that will give you inspiration to create beautiful cards of your own.

Thanks for stopping by today and visiting my blog.

Ann Butler Designs Unity Stamps

Hello..
To-day I would like to share  a couple more pages that I have been creating for a tag album featuring Ann Butler Designs Unity Stamps.  Pick up your stamps and create your own pattern paper.  This is a great way to match all your papers color tones for some unity within your project that you are creating.

Step # 1  Gather up your supplies.
A great selection of quality products sure does make the project an enjoyable experience.  Here I have used the Anne Butler Designs, Unity Stamps, Beacons Tacky Glue, Clearsnap Crafters Ink, Graphic 45 Botanical Collection papers and Westcott Brand Scissors.

Step # 2 -  Stamp your quilt blocks onto plain paper, dry, and die cut out circles of different sizes.

Step # 3 - Cover the album tag's with Graphic 45 pattern paper, distress mats for photo's, ink up your May Arts twine with the Anne Butler Clearsnap Crafters Ink and start the assembly process.

This project came together so well, with matching ink abilities and stamping the quilting stamps to complement the designer pattern papers.
Step # 4 - Stamp up some more patterns from the Anne Butler Designs Unity Stamps and create contrasting photo mats, which here I have added some rub-ons to document the year of the fishing trip.

Thanks for stopping by today to see my creation.

 Enjoy the adventure.
