Ann Butler Designs and Cool2Cast Blog Hop

Happy to be part of the Ann Butler Designs and  Tiffany Windsor's Cool2Cast Blog Hop.

Two leading ladies decided to organize a hop to showcase their product lines and the Ann Butler designers are happy to pair up with Cool2Cast.  Be sure to check out Cool2cast and view the video's.

You should have arrived at my blog here from Ann Butler's blog.

I am featuring Ann Butler's Earth Safe Paints and a Cool2Cast powder cast medium.  A girl can never have enough jewelry, so I decided to have some fun with a few jewelry pieces.

Lets take a look at those supplies.
Here you can see Ann's Earth Safe Paints.  I choose the Iridescent purple and pink paints.
I drilled tiny holes into the jewelry pieces large enough to thread through wires.  Painted each piece 2 coats of Earth Safe Paints.
Once the paint was dried, I stamped onto the rectangle cast with Ann Butler's 1" Stripes.Dots.Hearts and the 1" Doily Picnic set of  Stamps by Unity Stamp Co.
I used Clearsnap Surfacez paints to ensure that the stamping would adhere to the painted surface. Added a bit of rhinestones and so happy how well this pendant turned out.

Next up is a lovely heart shaped cast.  I braided my necklace piece and added my pendant to make a striking vogue pendant.

Take a close look at that shimmer in the Earth Safe Paints by Ann Butler Designs.

The Cool2Cast product provides smooth detailed casts that make great projects for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you for joining us for our blog hop.

Enjoy the rest of your day with lots of inspiration from my fellow team members.  Now hop on over to see what  BethWatson has created.

Here is the blog hop order for this event.

Ann Butler Designs and Unity Stamps

Hello and welcome to my blog today.
I have a "One Page Wonder"  that brings a lot of punch to your creative day today.
Think in terms of a man's bill fold (wallet).
The lovely digital image for the front of my wallet is from:   Crafty Secrets.
This "One Page Wonder"  with complete cutting and folding instructions can be found at:
Scundy Scrap and Handmade
another follower of Scundy also made instructions at Paper, Craft and Scissors

Step 1.  Cut 12 x 12 sheet according to instructions.
Step 2.  Cut picture mats and cardstock panels to size.
Step 3.  Stamp Ann Butler Designs, 1" stamps onto mat, heat set with heat tool.    Designing a quilt pattern on these cardstock  mat's is a great way to make your own pattern paper.
Step 4.  Cut emboss, sand and dust using dust buddy a embossed panel for one page of the wallet.

I have approximetaly 7 Ann Butler quilted stamped panels for this wallet.

Now all you have to do is finish your wallet by embellishing and adding photo's.  Attach a band around the wallet to secure your contents or a velcro fasterner by VELCRO.

Stampers' Sampler

Hello and welcome to my blog today.
Happy news to share, I received a copy of the July, Aug, Sep issue of Stampers' Sampler.  Yes, that means I got a card published in the magazine.  The call for this issue was back in February 2014 and I was away in Costa Rica, so I was please that they found one of my cards from a previous submission perfect for this issue of their magazine.

Here is a snapshot of my card within the pages of the magazine.

Happy Birthday

Check out my Black Magic Card on the Core'dinations Cardstock blog .

At first glance this card appears to have a strip of twine across the front of the card.  After a closer look, you can see that Core'dinations Cardstock has been scored, which reveals the inner colored core that creates this "faux twine look"

Tip:  Use Scoring on your card to present the "faux twine look".
