Play Date Cafe Challenge and Berry71Blue
Hello Everyone, today I made a card for a dear friend who became a 1st time grandparent this month. I am really enjoying dry embossing these days and hope to get better as I create new projects.
This card is my entry for the color challenge at theplaydatecafe.blogspot.ca.
The play date Cafe has a great team of designer, so go check out their site and join in the fun.
I am submitting this card in the chipboard challenge at Berry71Blue.blogspot.ca
Check out their site here
Supplies: Want2Scrap Chipboard, Color box, Royal Blue Ink, Sizzix Alerations embossing folder, white cardstock, black ribbon.
Notice that the branch and bird is the chipboard by Want2Scrap, which I embossed and then applied 2 coats of gesso before inking with the Royal Blue ink by Color Box.

Skipping Stones Design
I found skipping stones through Andrea Ewen and now I want to have all their stamps . Stampers and Scrappers, check out skippingstonesdesigns.com you will enjoy all of their stamps.
Skipping stones Mission Statement is as follows:
(I think this is what drew me into their store)
To help papercrafters share the gift of laughter one stamp at a time.
Laughter is the one common thread that holds us together. It is there for us even when life is falling apart at the seams. Laughter ties closer the bonds of friends and family. It is the cement of good memories, and is the medicine that cures whatever ills you
At the moment, they have a sketch challenge going on so check it out. Read the details on the challenge. I needed a fathers day card real quick, as i am busy for the weekend, so I could not resist to print one of their stamp images, rather than use one from my stash. I love this little image and my family will too. I will be ordering stamps from them shortly.
Here is a new stamp set release of butterflies. I have included sketch challenge D132 and my interpretation of this sketch for father’s day.
nb: guess what, i found a stampset that I did have from skipping stones, forgot my friend got me a set, so now I am all happy ....wink wink

Really Reasonable Ribbon RRR49
Hello Everyone: Today, I wanted to try a challenge from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I was inspired by DT member Angela, whereby, she made the buds of her flowers out of ribbon. So, as you can see, I too made my flower buds out of sheer ribbon. Check out Really Reasonable Ribbon.......
http://reasonableribbon.blogspot.ca/2012/06/rrr-challenge-49-flowers-and-ribbon.html
Since their ribbon is beautiful and reasonable, I want to encourge you to tie double bows. Double bows are so much fun to make, layer and create. A bow with 4 tails, looks so full and beauitiful. So, since we will all be making double bows, check out reasonable ribbon blog, you will like it.
