Hello and Welcome to my blog today. To-day is the day I have chosen to share with you the many reason's I enjoy designing with Core'dinations Cardstock.
Core'dinations is
a unique cardstock. I love that you can sand Core'dinations to show
off the embossing possibilities of the cardstock and discover an underlying co-ordinating color ! Be sure to visit Core'dination's website and blog for lots of inspiration and Educational technique video's. Core'dinations is having a design team call and this is my audition post.
Let me count the many reason I love to design with Core'dinations Cardstock.
"Edge Distress It"
This layout features the "Edge Distress It" technique which you can find here on the Official Website.
This layout showcases how you can use many embossing folders to create your own personalized pattern paper without using pattern paper. Imagine how beneficial this is to have all paper colors co-ordinate. I have edge distress many layers of paper on this layout.
"Antique It"
Next technique I wish to feature is Antiquing.
This project showcases how you can crumple your cardstock, sand and emboss it to get 3 different looks. This fall table center piece showcases how easy and durable Core'dinations Cardstock truly is.
The above chart displays the various looks that can be obtained applying various mediums to the
Antique technique.
a) This
line you see the green leaves cut out straight up from the paper.
B) this side presents the harvest orange,
crumbled and sanded leaves (above the B)
and below the b) green leaves were made
by first crumbling the cardstock, sanding and then die cutting the leaves
out.
C) this line of leaves shows the differences from
inked and die cut to crumbled and sanded before die cutting the leaves.
D) this sample is taking the cherry bright
cardstock , crumbled, sanded to a beautiful rustic version of the leaves found
everywhere this autumn before die cutting.
"Emboss It"
Embossing is one of the most popular techniques within the paper craft industry. Core'dinations of course is a leader within our industry of the most luxurious artistic creations that can be seen in many galleries,
and
This card reflects the texture that can be created with dry embossing and sanding to reveal the inner colored core of Core'dinations Chocolate Box cardstock.
The Chocolate Box Core'dinations Cardstock, truly has some wonderful jewel tone inner core colors. Lots of texture can be created very simply, by embossing. This technique is a starting point for many paper crafters who are starting out within the industry which will give gratifying results to any project that is designed.

I find that discovering a new trend will catch my eye and interest me in experimenting with different mediums, so I tend to design "off the page projects" that incorporate new techniques. I guess that since I started out within this paper craft industry with 12 x 12 layouts, that is my true love, with lots of mediums and techniques applied. Although is a card not a miniature layout? (smile). Is an off the page or a journal not a piece of a layout?
Find these Video techniques and all the products showcased today on the Core'dinations Website.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today and have a creative day.
Enjoy the journey.
