Here are the products I used for my bordeau colored V- tag.  (there is a new color trend emerging, stay tuned)  Premium Craft glue adheres the flourish to my Core’dinations Cardstock.  Helmar’s Liquid Scrap dots are perfect for holding down my bows and ribbon. Scrap Around the World with BoBunny

Scrap Around the World is a wonderful website that inspires everyone to create artistic creations.  Join Scrap Around the World for their monthly challenges. I love them.  I love the owner, Helen Tilbury who is such a generous creative soul in a very warm climate....

Here is the mood board and sketch to follow for the month of July's  challenge.
I choose the hanging keys as my inspiration and flipped the sketch horizontally.  As of late, I have been hooked on banners of any sort.  I am trying to come up with more creative striking banners from the traditional, so stay tuned for more of these on my work.

Mix'd Media Journey

Thought I would share a quick look at some wonderful pages that I created with Ania Dabrowska this past week.  Ania is a wonderful educator and I hope to be one of her creative students. 

The photo of my husband and son, need to be cut and added to the above album covers.  This will be a great album to add my mix'd media creations to.

Welcome to Where Bloggers Create 2013

This weekend is the beginning of a open house tour of where creative bloggers create.  All of you have been to garden tour's in your local city or heritage homes decorated for christmas a fund raisers, well this is an open house tour of artistic creative designers.  Owner Karen Valentine, sweet designer is hosting this party tour, so let her know that Ava sent you over to visit My Desert Cottage.

This I believe is going to be a huge trend that is just gathering momentum, so stay tuned its going to be a wonderful journey.

Scrap Around The World

Scrap Around the World is having their 2nd challenge this month (June 2013).  The white and turquoise camera inspired me to create this winter layout of my son taking his first snowboarding lesson.  I flipped and turned the sketch and had fun creating my title to look like snow, as that is what i think of looking at this camera.
