Petaloo's Color Me Crazy Challenge

June is color me crazy month at Petaloo. Check it out, there are 3 categories you can create and submit a creative artistic entry. Check it out here, due date is July 15th. Here is my entry for the Altered project.
I have turned a wooden framed artist canvas into a shadow box.
Painted with gesso and modelling paste. Misted with Tsuineko Cherry Blossom mist.

Petaloo Color M Crazy Wild Rose flowers, misted with Tsuineko sheer shimmer spritz copper and Cherry Blossom Walnut Ink.  Glue Dots Adhesive's, minis.

Hand wrapped vine using \petaloo Floral Embelishments, Velvet Hydrangeas. I took the Hydrangeas apart and wrapped them with green florist tape and added the Sizzix # 656064 branch set leaf to create this lovely vine. The florist tape was painted with gesso.

Bobunny Friday Challenge

Bobunny promotes creativity by having a Friday Challenge. This weeks challenge is to use a piece of fabric, such as a piece of clothing as inspiration. Here is my inspiration a frilly piece of lingerie with a corset lacing feel to it.

I have choosen to use the Bobunny Time \piece collection of papers. The handmade lily flowers are made from the moments pp. The green cardstock vine has been cut using the Sizzix #656064 leaves set. I love how the timepiece cut outs have worked well with this layout, capturing the theme of the layout of my mother when she was 16 years old.

Lets Scrap May Sketch

Lets scrap celebrated National Scrapbook Day all month long. How much fun is that for all of us scrappy ladies? Here is my interpretation of one of the sketch challenges. This is the BoBunny Time piece collection which has beautiful jewel tones mixed with soft brown tones that look great with the splash of white in the designs.

Dusty Attic April sketch

Here is my interpretation of the DA sketch for the month of April.

This is an interpretation of my mon's shelf in her bedroom, with pictures of her husband to be. Echo \park paper, tulle. DA mini chipboard frames, string of pearls, clipart victorian vase.

Lets scrap gave members a challenge within the forum challenge 92 to create Vintage Shabby Chic. So of course I ran to the web for ideals. I believe I have found my happy place right now in this area of vintage shabby chic. So here is my card for the challenge.
